“To meet the needs of children to be safe and nurtured, we need to tend to the needs and resources that parents have and make sure they are adequate to enable them to meet the needs of their children and keep them safe in their families, wherever possible.”

Linda discussed how families and children had been coping with COVID-19, how Children 1st has adapted their services to the pandemic and how they are planning for the future.

Wellbeing Wednesday with Mind and Draw

This week for Wellbeing Wednesday we shared a video made with Mind and Draw who kindly showed us some fun exercises to use creativity to improve wellbeing. There are four quick exercises which you can try as a self care exercise or as a fun activity with others.

Cyber Resilience: COVID-19 and the “new normal” – Thursday 16th July

This cyber security webinar will take place on 16th July 2020, 13.00-13.30, and will look at the impacts COVID-19 has had on organisations and services. This will include an overview of how things have moved on over the last 3 months, as well as what we need to be aware of in this next phase of the “new normal”.

The webinar will be presented by Alison Stone, Cyber Resilience Co-ordinator at SCVO. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.
