The Scottish Braille Press announces significant investment in a state-of-the-art braille printer
The Scottish Braille Press, part of Sight Scotland, is a leading provider of accessible formats for people with Visual Impairment across the UK.
It specialises in producing braille, large print, and audio materials, ensuring that essential information, such as bank statements, benefits leaflets, insurance details, and exam papers, are available to everyone. The Scottish Braille Press currently helps around 50, 000 people and works with some of the biggest organisations in the UK.
This new investment in the form of a special printer imported from Norway replaces a 27-year-old machine that had become increasingly challenging to maintain.
