Mentoring designed to walk alongside you and your family
Delivered by the Wise Group, a social enterprise that enables people to change their lives, on behalf of Scottish Government. Relational Mentoring Scotland offers free one-to-one mentoring to families living in Glasgow, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, Inverclyde and Scottish Borders.
RMS can help families overcome challenges through:
- One to one tailored support
- Confidence and motivation
- Life skills and goal setting
- Planning for the future
- Introducing you to resources in the local area
- Connections to other services and support
- Improving or gaining employement skills.
Eligibility criteria
- Caring responsibility for children living in the household either consistently or part of the week
- Willing to engage with their mentor
- Live in 1 of our 6 local authority areas
