Paid internship opportunity for school leavers with Visual Impairment
Leaving school can feel like a big step, especially if you are living with Visual Impairment.
If you are a Visually Impaired school leaver in Scotland, or you are supporting one, Sight Scotland are piloting a new nine-month paid internship, designed to build confidence and real workplace experience.
Based primarily at Sight Scotland’s Head Office in Edinburgh from September 2026, the internship offers meaningful responsibilities, hands-on experience and training in transferable skills, all within a supportive and accessible environment.
The internship is paid in-line with the Scottish Living Wage, because contribution should be recognised from day one.
