Scottish Children's Health Awards 2026 now open for nominations until 30 June.

The Scottish Children’s Health Awards celebrate the remarkable people, teams, and young individuals who make a real difference to the lives of children and young people receiving care and treatment. From outstanding healthcare professionals and advocates to inspiring young achievers, these awards recognise dedication, compassion, bravery, and the positive impact made across hospitals, schools, homes, and communities. Nominations are now open until 5.00pm on Tuesday 30 June 2026.

Award 1 – Children’s Choice Award
For someone who has made a child or young person feel supported, cared for, and valued during treatment in hospital, at home, or in the community.

Award 2 – Health and Wellbeing Award
Recognising an individual or team who has improved the health and wellbeing of a child or young person through care, treatment, or advocacy.

Award 3 – Healthcare Rights Award
Celebrating those who have gone above and beyond to protect and promote the healthcare rights of children and young people.

Award 4 – Health-Related Play Award
For a person or team who has used play to support a child’s physical, emotional, or mental wellbeing during treatment or recovery.

Award 5 – Improving Life Experiences Award
Recognising someone who has helped children or young people build confidence, resilience, and skills while facing health challenges.

Award 6 – Young Achiever Award
Honouring a child or young person who has shown determination, courage, and perseverance in difficult circumstances.

Award 7 – Children’s Bravery Award
Celebrating a child or young person who has shown outstanding bravery while living with illness or disability.
