The Disability Connect Mentoring Scheme in collaboration with the University of Edinburgh and Research Data Scotland are researching how mental and physical health conditions are reported across different ethnic backgrounds in Scotland.

The organisation is recruiting disabled people from Black, Asian, mixed and minority ethnic backgrounds in Scotland. This includes people who are Deaf, Deafblind or who have a Visual Impairment.

Online workshops will take place via Zoom in June, September/October, and December/January. Each workshop will last for two hours.

Renumeration will be £80 per session, £240 in total, in line with Scottish Government guidance on compensating people for their time and expertise.

No experience is needed. Full training will be given and reasonable adjustments provided.
