Scottish Vision Services Steering Group survey

The survey will help to explore the reinstatement of the Low Vision Rehabilitation course.
The Scottish Vision Services Steering Group, Glasgow Caledonian University and the Scottish Government Support for Sensory Loss Policy Team are working together to explore solutions to the lack of Low Vision Rehabilitation qualification pathway in Scotland. In the first instance, we are exploring the reinstatement of the Low Vision Rehabilitation course, potentially in January 2023.
A minimum cohort of 20 students is required in order for the Low Vision Rehabilitation Course to be viable. However, funding of this is a key issue. Various avenues are being explored, but it may be the case that all students will have to either have their fees covered by their employer, or self-fund.
We require accurate and honest information from you to assist in ascertaining if it will be possible to offer the course in January 2023.
