Remobilisation and Recovery with Humza Yousaf MSP
Health journalist Pennie Taylor sat down with the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care, Humza Yousaf MSP. ALLIANCE members questions were put to the Cabinet Secretary and he discussed current issues and future priorities at a time of great challenge and change. Questions were wide ranging including NHS Recovery Plan, access to specialist nurses, the National Care Service, learning from the pandemic and the impact COVID has had on disabled people, people living with long term conditions and unpaid carers.
Cov-Boost study
Cov-Boost is a UK wide study that is currently underway establishing the effectiveness of a third dose of seven different COVID-19 vaccines. Professor Emma Thompson who leads the trials at the Greater Glasgow and Clyde site provides further information as to the purpose of the trial and its importance.
Self Management Research
Want to hear about some of the latest research in Self Management? This panel discussion covers some of the latest learning around self management and long term conditions from academics in the field.
Emerging themes from Scottish Mental Health Law Review
John Scott QC speaks to ALLIANCE Director for Strategic Partnership and Engagement Irene Oldfather about centring human rights within mental health legislation. Audiences are also given an update on the progress of the Scottish Mental Health Law Review following the recent publication of its third interim report.
