NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde on a new Early Years Mental Health Improvement Framework.
What is the Framework?
The Framework has been created to help support those working in the early years to plan and deliver mental health improvement activities for babies and young children who are under five years old, as well as for their parents / caregivers. In a simple model, it captures the key elements that evidence shows us can promote positive mental health in this age group.
You can also download the draft Framework from the Mental Health Improvement Team’s website (this link will take you away from our website. Further information about the Framework consultation and a range of supporting documents can also be accessed via this link. This includes evidence briefings, a policy mapping document, and a Framework audit tool.
How can you get involved in the consultation?
NHS GGC are running a consultation on the Framework and are keen to hear your views and opinions on it. Your feedback will be used to refine and improve the Framework, ensuring it is fit for purpose and meets the needs of a variety of partners.
