The Glasgow Alliance to End Homeless are redesigning all commissioned homelessness services in the city.

Glasgow Alliance to End Homelessness is responsible for redesigning and transforming all commissioned homelessness services in the city and is looking to hear from organisations who think they can work with them to achieve ‘What’s Best for People’.

Glasgow Alliance to End Homelessness brings together ten partners, including third sector and independent organisations, Glasgow City Council, Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership, and crucially, people with lived experience of homelessness. Formed in 2020 from the recognition that ‘more of the same won’t do’, the Alliance is a radical approach (and the first of its kind in the UK) tasked with ending homelessness in the city by 2030. You can learn more about them by visiting the GAEH website (this link will take you away from our website).

The Alliance is redesigning and transforming all commissioned homelessness services and is starting with Outreach services.

To ensure that services are innovative and integrated to deliver their guiding principle of ‘What’s Best for People’, the Alliance wants to hear from organisations who believe they can bring added value to improve the lives of people in Glasgow.

If you’re an organisation that hasn’t traditionally delivered homelessness services or worked in Glasgow but believe that you can offer person-centred support within Outreach or any other commissioned homelessness service, then complete an Expressions of Interest profile to find out more about ways of working together.

Expressions of Interest is a standard profile supporting the Alliance team to understand the scope of services and expertise your organisation can deliver. This is part of the Alliance’s innovative process for redesigning and awarding services. More information on what this looks like can be found the Alliance website (this link will take you away from our website).

The Alliance are interested in hearing from organisations who would like to work with them in any capacity. However, the first commissioned service to be redesigned is Outreach. You can find out more about how your organisation be a part of their vision for Outreach by visiting their website (this link will take you away from our website).

The Alliance is an exciting opportunity to transform services to become more joined-up, agile and innovative to achieve better outcomes for people in Glasgow. They are flexible and open to radical new approaches, and would love to hear from any organisations that want to get involved in their movement for change.
