The Promise Scotland has updated their logo to help give more clarity over who the organisation are.
This updates helps in differentiating between The Promise Scotland and the promise.
The promise, is that all Scotland’s children and young people will grow up loved, safe and respected — so that they will realise their full potential.
The Promise Scotland is the organisation set up to help Scotland to keep that promise.
The new logo has a tagline, and a graphic to represent the organisations role in supporting those working to keep the promise. It aims to help provide a visual difference between The Promise Scotland, the promise, and other bodies set up to deliver the promise.
Why is this needed?
For many of the partners and organisations The Promise Scotland work with, they understand their role. But this is not the case for everyone.
There has also been confusion to the different roles and responsibilities of The Promise Scotland, the Oversight Board for the promise and the Independent Strategic Advisor – the promise. This was also highlighted by Audit Scotland. The updated logo is a part of wider work to provide more clarity.
What else been done?
1. A new website for the Oversight Board for the promise was created, separate from The Promise Scotland, and with their own style and branding.
2. The Promise Scotland restructured and revamped their website, to give a much clearer focus on what they do, the areas they work in and how they support people to keep the promise. 3. There is a brand new section on the website, Keeping the Promise, setting out the various roles and responsibilities of those involved in keeping the promise.
4. The Promise Scotland have published updates on their role and responsibility in Plan 24-30 and the Promise Story of Progress.
