#TryAToolTuesday raises awareness of free and trusted apps and resources that help people improve and manage their health and wellbeing.

Welcome to #TryAToolTuesday

This month we are pleased to share the following tools for managing your health and wellbeing:

  • NHS Inform - a website that provides reliable information on many health conditions. It also allows you to assess your symptoms and recommends a course of action based on your answers. You can also use NHS inform to find health services in your local area. Access here – https://www.nhsinform.scot/
  • Epilepsy Toolkit - this toolkit from Quarriers features guidance and advice from real people with epilepsy about how to manage the condition and live life to the fullest. Access here – https://toolkit.quarriers.org.uk/
  • ALISS (A Local Information System for Scotland) – an online directory that allows you to find services, groups and activities for health and wellbeing in your local area. Access here – https://www.aliss.org/
  • Mind – a website that provides information on a variety of different mental health conditions, treatment options and where to go for support. Access here – https://www.mind.org.uk/

Tried one of these tools? Comment on this post or email at dhcscot@alliance-scotland.co.uk with your thoughts. We’d love to hear from you!
