The ALLIANCE has responded to the Scottish Government's call for views on the new Equality Evidence Strategy.

The ALLIANCE has responded to the Scottish Government’s consultation on the Equality Evidence Strategy 2023-25 (this link will take you away from our website).

Our response highlights the importance of intersectional analysis, co-production, and connecting health and social care data. Such actions will enable Scotland to develop robust, evidence-based policy and practice that is responsive to the needs and requirements of the population, including seldom heard from groups and those disproportionately and adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The content of our response was drawn from consultation with our members. We also drew on research findings from a range of relevant research into people’s experiences of current health and social care data in Scotland.
