Contribute to survey on experiences of adult mental health secondary care

The ALLIANCE and VOX Scotland are collecting views to support the development of Mental Health Standards.
The Scottish Government are looking to develop Quality Standards for Adult Mental Health Secondary Services. The Quality Standards will set out what you can expect from services and the principles on which they will be delivered.
The ALLIANCE, in partnership with VOX Scotland (this link will take you away from our website), is seeking views from adults with lived experience of mental health, their families, and carers.
The ALLIANCE will be gather the findings from this survey to produce a report which will be submitted, with VOX Scotland, to the Scottish Government Mental Health and Well-being Quality Standards Working Group to support them in the development of Mental Health Standards for adult secondary care. By participating in this survey, you will help to influence these standards and play a key role in shaping the structure and delivery of mental health services in Scotland moving forward.

To support this research, the ALLIANCE is also conducting a focus group on 2nd March for adults with lived experience, their families and carers. You can find more information here.

What are Adult Mental Health Secondary services?
Adult Mental Health Secondary Services are those you have been referred to through your GP and can include Community Psychiatric Nurses (CPN), Psychiatry, and other staff within a mental health team. It also includes the services you get from a crisis team, and support in psychiatric hospitals for your mental health.
