NHS inform is the national health information digital service which provides people in Scotland with accurate, and up-to-date information.

The Scottish Government and NHS 24 are in the early stages of a review of NHS inform to understand how and why people use it (or not) and what they think could be improved.

To inform the review a range of stakeholders have been identified.  This includes citizens, patients, carers, health and care professionals, and staff at NHS 24.

A range of approaches will be carried out to seek views including through a series of workshops and an online survey which will close on Friday 21 June.

Themes to be explored in the review include:

  • Awareness of NHS Inform
  • Experience in using NHS Inform
  • Awareness and experience of other health and care digital resources (apps etc)
  • Barriers and or concerns of using NHS Inform
  • Expectations and Aspiration

Workshops will be held online via Zoom, and the event notes will be shared with all participants shortly afterwards. The workshop dates are:

All the sessions are identical so please just book into one. Please confirm your attendance and any access requirements by Friday 7 June.

If you are unable to make the workshop events, you can also have your say by completing this online survey.

If you would prefer to complete the survey via telephone please call 0141 404 0231 and ask for someone in the Digital Health and Social Care Team to call you back.

For any questions or further information, please contact Chigozie Joe Adigwe, Digital Network Officer.
