Every Tuesday the Discover Digital team at the ALLIANCE shares a free and trusted digital tool that supports health and wellbeing.

The aim of #TryAToolTuesday is to raise awareness of free and trusted apps and resources to help people improve and manage their health and wellbeing.

It has been launched across ALLIANCE X (formerly Twitter), Facebook and LinkedIn.

This February we shared four different apps, tools and resources. Why not check them out?

  • Get Safe Online: a website providing advice on how to protect yourself, your devices and your business against fraud, identity theft, viruses and many other issues encountered online. https://www.getsafeonline.org/
  • The Cancer App: an app which features information specific to twelve different cancer types. https://www.the-cancer-app.com/
  • About Digital And Me (ADAM): a platform that helps people living with long term conditions find the right technology at the right time. https://www.meetadam.org/
  • TellMi: an award-winning app for young people aged 11-25. Where they can anonymously speak about their mental health. https://www.tellmi.help/

Tried one of these tools? Give us a shout on X (formerly Twitter), FacebookLinkedIn or email at dhcscot@alliance-scotland.co.uk with your thoughts. We’d love to hear from you.

If you would like to learn about more digital tools, search #TryAToolTuesday on X (formerly Twitter) for previous months!
