The ALLIANCE are establishing a peer network to connect professionals working in Glasgow who are passionate about digital inclusion.

We’re excited to invite professionals working in Glasgow to our first peer networking meeting on Tuesday, 18th March at 2-3pm (online).

This working group, facilitated by the Digital Health and Social Care team at the Health and Social Care ALLIANCE Scotland, is designed for professionals who are passionate about digital inclusion. Our goal is to build on the legacy of the Digital Links Project by creating stronger connections between services working to reduce digital exclusion. Through regular engagement, we aim to provide ongoing support, share best practices, and collaborate on solutions.

This network is peer-led and action-focused, and we welcome your ideas on how the group can best serve you.

Our key objectives:

  • Resource sharing – Connecting members with tools to tackle digital exclusion, such as data banks, devices, digital skills groups, and funding opportunities.
  • Best practice exchange – Providing a space for organisations to share insights and successful strategies.
  • Learning opportunities – Offering free training sessions, workshops, and events such as Discover Digital Roadshows and Workshops.
  • Collaboration – Exploring ways to improve platforms like ALISS that people can use to find digital inclusion resources in one place.

If you’d like to join the meeting or would be interested in becoming involved in the group in some way, please email dhcscot@alliance-scotland.org.uk. Please feel free to also share this opportunity with any colleagues that may be interested in joining this group.
