Every Tuesday the Discover Digital team at the ALLIANCE shares a free and trusted digital tool that supports health and wellbeing.

The aim of #TryAToolTuesday is to raise awareness of free and trusted apps and resources to help people improve and manage their health and wellbeing.

It has been launched across ALLIANCE X  (formerly Twitter), Facebook and LinkedIn.

This December we shared five different apps, tools and resources. Why not check them out?

  • NHS Mind to Mind: a website designed to help you find out how you can improve your mental wellbeing by hearing what others have found helpful. More info here.
  • Human Rights Town: an app designed to empower people with learning disabilities to recognise and realise their human rights. More info here.
  • Breathing Space: a free and confidential phone and web-based service for people in Scotland experiencing low mood, depression or anxiety. More info here.
  • ALISS: a platform that connects you to services, groups and activities in your area related to health and wellbeing. More info here.
  • Best For You: a ‘Health Apps Library’ website for supporting young people with their mental health. More info here.

Tried one of these tools? Give us a shout on X (formerly Twitter), FacebookLinkedIn or email us at dhcscot@alliance-scotland.co.uk with your thoughts. We’d love to hear from you.

If you would like to learn about more digital tools, search #TryAToolTuesday on X (formerly Twitter) for previous months!
