The National Association of Link Workers are looking for individuals with lived experience of working with community link workers.
The newly formed National Association of Link Workers (NALW) Service User Reference Group is actively seeking individuals with lived experience of working with community link workers to help shape link worker practices, policy and research, amplify underrepresented voices and bridge service gaps.
NAWL is committed to working closely with people and communities. To ensure the needs and perspectives of service users are central to the development of social prescribing and link worker practices, NALW established a service user reference group. The primary aims of the group is to:
- Promote service user engagement in social prescribing policy, research and development.
- Raise awareness of the vital work of link workers and highlight service gaps.
- Encourage service user and link worker collaboration.
- Serve as a sounding board for NALW and offer input as needed.
For more information about what this group will entail, please read: NALW Service User Reference Group – National Association of Link Workers
If you’re intrigued and wish to learn more about joining their Service User Reference Group, kindly register your interest by emailing partners@nalw.org.uk. NAWL will organise a briefing webinar and extend an invitation to you.
