Findings from the survey will help influence and inform the policies towards supporting LGBT young people.

LGBT Youth Scotland are looking for young people aged between 13 and 25 to input into their “Life in Scotland for LGBT Young People” survey. They are also encouraging organisations that may work with LGBT young people to share it.

The survey aims to provide a snapshot across many areas of life, including education, the NHS, mental health, coming out, safety, work, home life, representation and the media. The Life in Scotland for LGBT Young People survey is undertaken every five years, and LGBT Youth Scotland will use the findings to influence decision makers, including the Scottish Government.

You can find the survey on LGBT Youth Scotland’s website here. It is estimated to take between 20-40 minutes to complete, and is open until Monday 5 October 2026.
