Members are invited to provide input into the ALLIANCE's manifesto for the 2026 Scottish Parliament Election.
The Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE) are currently in the process of developing our manifesto for the 2026 Scottish Parliament election. This will set out the key priorities we would like the next Scottish Parliament and Scottish Government to act on over the following five years.
Following internal discussion amongst the ALLIANCE’s Policy Team and contributions from other teams across the ALLIANCE, we are now seeking to engage with members on what has been proposed so far, any further suggestions, and possibilities for aligning calls between organisations. You can find a summary document via the resource link at the bottom of this page.
We welcome feedback and/or additional suggestions from members via email to policy@alliance-scotland.org.uk no later than 30 June 2025. Suggestions should aim to be SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound); aligned with the work and priorities of the ALLIANCE or our members; and within devolved powers (a reminder of what is devolved is available here this link will take you away from The Alliance website). For information, you can find the ALLIANCE’s 2021 Manifesto on our website.
We are also hosting several online events, and one in person, to allow members to engage with us directly:
- Online: Wednesday 7 May, 11am – 12pm
- Online: Tuesday 13 May, 11am – 12pm
- Online: Thursday 15 May, 3pm – 4pm
- Online: Wednesday 21 May, 10.30am – 11.30am
- In Person: Wednesday 4 June, 10.45am – 12pm
If you are interested in attending any of these sessions, please email policy@alliance-scotland.org.uk, making sure to state which session you would like to attend. The in person session will be held at the ALLIANCE office in Glasgow. Numbers for this session will therefore be limited, and we would kindly ask that if you are able to join online you attend one of those sessions to allow members who would most benefit from an in person session to attend.
We would also kindly request that in the interests of fairness you or your organisation only attend one session, though if you have further thoughts or input that occur after attending a session, we are happy to receive those via email.
