Get Online Week: Empowering people across the UK to connect and thrive in the Digital World

Get Online Week is being held from 14th- 20th of October, and aims to help as many people as possible to get online
Good Things Foundation are back for their 18th Get Online Week, their annual digital inclusion campaign. This initiative aims to support thousands of people throughout the UK to get online in just one week.
As part of this week, local organisations and National Digital Inclusion Network members will host a variety of events that aims to teach a new digital skill that will allow attendees to experience and understand the benefits of getting online. Last year, over 865 events were held, supporting over 16,000 people, and this year they are hoping to support even more people to get online.
From teaching people how to manage their money online and learn about online safety, to helping them to gain basic digital skills for employment, there are hundreds of free community events being held across the UK for people to get connected. You can view the full map of events here.
The Health and Social Care ALLIANCE are hosting a Discover Digital event as part of this week, introducing people to the Discover Digital Guide and how to find the right digital health and wellbeing tools for you. You can read more about this event and details on how to register here.
