Share your feedback on where you would like Changing Places toilets built in Scotland.
A new fund from the Scottish Government, opening in the summer of 2025, will support the building of new Changing Place toilets. The Changing Places Toilets Scotland Fund will offer up to £10 million over two financial years for organisations to apply for a Changing Places toilet in or adjacent to an existing building, or to develop a standalone Changing Places toilet.
The funding will support existing statutory requirements for Changing Places toilets in Scotland, as outlined in the Planning (Scotland) Act, 2019, which mandates that certain new developments must include a Changing Places toilet.
Changing Places toilets are different to standard accessible toilets with extra features and more space to meet a different set of needs, in order to minimise risk and support the dignity of disabled people.
PAMIS are seeking views to inform the design of the fund, including where people would like to see more Changing Places toilets built. By providing feedback, your views will shape the fund design and contribute to the development of these facilities across Scotland.
For more information on the survey, including additional information and resources on Changing Places toilets, visit the PAMIS website.
