Charter of Rights for People Affected by Substance Use
A Charter of Rights for People Affected by Substance Use.
Please note that documents are not yet live and will be available from 11th December 2024 following our launch event.
The National Collaborative has consulted extensively with people affected by Substance use to co-design a Charter of Rights. The Charter of Rights aims to help people to know what their rights are, and know what support they can expect to receive from services.
The Charter of Rights (once published on 11th December 2024), will be available at the bottom of this page along with an easy read and summary version. We have also provided an animated video of the Charter Summary.
The National Collaborative have also created a Charter Toolkit to help duty bearers understand how to use the Charter.
